About the Experience

Age: 12 years old and above.
Duration: 3 – 3.5 hours (180 minutes).
Fee: 280 USD per person
Location: National Olympic Memorial Youth Center, Tokyo.
Group Size: 1 to 10 participants

Sample Schedule
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Duration: 3 – 3.5 hours)
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Preparation and sword fighting practice
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Change of clothes and shooting
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Change of clothes

Experience Features

Authentic Sword Fighting Lesson: A sword fighting actor with 20 years of experience will provide careful instruction in sword fighting techniques from basic movements and direct the action with an eye towards filming. Beginners can participate with confidence.

Recreating Anime Characters: Choose your favorite anime character or a famous movie scene and transform yourself into that character. The fun is amplified when you perform with friends.

Video Filming: At the end of the tour, we will use participants’ smartphones to shoot a dynamic short film. As an option, we can also focus on camera work to capture special moments on film.

AGENDA

Please come directly to the meeting point 10 minutes before your reservation time.
We will provide traditional Japanese costumes (hakama) and props such as swords. (Hair and makeup are not included.)
On the day of the shoot, we will film according to the plot. Please transform into your favorite character!
The recorded data will be edited to add sound effects, such as slashing sounds, and will be sent as an MP4 file to the email address you provided at the time of application one week later.(Optional)

What to bring?

Participants Who Should Refrain from Joining
・People who are feeling unwell or unable to follow the rules or show   consideration for others.
・Those who lack respect for the anime works.
・Individuals under the age of 12.
・People with underlying health conditions (such as heart disease, back problems, or other conditions that may affect their ability to participate), alcohol dependency, or severe visual impairments (including those who cannot wear glasses).

  • Food and beverage: Participants are responsible for their own food and drink.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Cancellation Policy and Refunds
Cancellations within 24 hours of the event: A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
No-shows: A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the event: No cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellations made up to one week prior to the event are free of charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this time.

Regarding Late Arrivals
If you arrive 15 minutes or more later than your scheduled time without prior notice, we will consider it a no-show.
In the event of cancellation or postponement due to:
Circumstances beyond our control (such as event cancellation by the organizer)
Force majeure events (such as inclement weather or natural disasters) We will either reschedule the event or provide a full refund.

Costumes and Scripts
Costumes: Please bring your own cosplay costume. We can provide traditional Japanese attire (hakama) if needed.
Scripts: We will decide on the script on the day of the event, but feel free to bring any lines you would like to use.
Changing rooms: Basic changing rooms are available in the restrooms. Please refrain from changing into or out of revealing clothing in the main area.
